Actress and artist
Victoria Sophie Gulliksen is an Oslo-based actress and artist, born in 1994 in Sandefjord, Norway. Her passion for the performing arts began at a young age, leading her to explore a wide array of experiences across local theatre, circus communities, and television.
Victoria’s journey in the arts took her to École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq in Paris, where she studied from 2014 to 2016. This experience deepened her understanding of physical theatre and enriched her artistic practice. She holds a master’s degree from the National Theatre Academy in Oslo, where she honed her skills as a performer and creator.
As a co-founder of Acting for Climate, a circus and theatre company dedicated to raising awareness, Victoria actively engages audiences with her artistic practice while fostering conversations around social responsibility.
With a background that spans multiple countries, including work in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Lithuania, and France, Victoria has collaborated with various theatre companies, such as In Itinere Collectif and Ouest of Center, and has made significant contributions to productions with Øyteateret, Det Nye Teaterkompaniet, and Bakland Produksjoner.
Victoria also shares her passion for the arts through teaching, having led workshops and projects with youth in various settings. She strives to create inclusive and supportive learning environments, guiding students in producing their own shows and helping them explore their creative potential.
Driven by a love for storytelling and a desire to connect with audiences, Victoria continues to explore the boundaries of performance, blending her extensive experience with a creative vision that reflects her dedication to the arts and the world around her.
